When it comes to shared, reseller, semi-dedicated, and cloud hosting, HawkHost is a solid all-around performer. HawkHost provides everything one needs to start and manage a website, starting at a low price and with great hosting features. HawkHost provides everything needed for a solid foundation in terms of security. To help customers secure their websites and email accounts, they use proprietary software such as Imunify360 and SpamExperts on most of their products. Customers on shared servers are typically logically separated using CageFS to prevent successful malware attacks, hacks, or other issues from spreading from one customer to the next.
CloudLinux developed Imunify360, a security tool that is installed on all shared, reseller, and semi-dedicated servers. It consists of an advanced firewall that detects and responds to threats across HawkHost's servers using herd immunity protocols and artificial intelligence. By automatically detecting and blocking potential attacks, it can provide protection against DDoS attacks, bot attacks, malware infections, and port scans.
SmapExperts is one of the top spam prevention tools, despite being fairly standard for most hosting providers. It can block up to 99 percent of spam from reaching your inbox, preventing you from receiving both unwanted and potentially malicious emails. It also has tools for whitelisting and blacklisting specific domains, tracking email statistics, and ensuring that your emails are delivered. It's available on all shared, reseller, and semi-dedicated hosting plans, just like Imunify.
Customers can also use two-factor authentication to secure their accounts with HawkHost. When you sign in with your chosen authentication device after it has been activated, you will receive a 6-digit verification code. Even if your login credentials are stolen, no one else will be able to access your account.
HawkHost, unfortunately, does not offer the most comprehensive support options. Customers have access to ticket support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but no phone support is available for any of the products. Most other hosts provide this service, even if it is only available during certain hours. Resellers who are concerned about their customers can rely on the immediacy of live chat support.
Regardless of hosting type or package, HawkHost provides Helpdesk ticket support to all of their customers. It is the only option for shared hosting customers. Ticket support, on the other hand, is quite quick, with responses usually arriving within a few minutes. Representatives are generally polite, knowledgeable, and thorough in their responses, as they are with all of their support channels.
Live chat support is available to reseller customers as well. The majority of people prefer this method of help. Of course, it's usually quicker and more responsive than ticket support, but you can expect the same level of attention from the customer service representatives. If you're lucky, you'll get a response in under 5 minutes.
Fortunately, live support isn't your only option for resolving issues with your hosting. HawkHost has a thriving user forum with thousands of posts. You can get assistance from other customers as well as HawkHost support staff here. It's also a great place to find solutions to problems similar to yours that others have already solved. The knowledgebase is also a great place to learn about hosting, particularly if you're new to it. It's fairly comprehensive, with plenty of step-by-step instructions to guide you through common tasks.

“It took more time to explain the issue without a phone call”
Hawkhost provides a budget hosting plan for my personal blog which is built with WordPress. The first day, I see everything was pretty good. However, on the second day, I see that my used disk space increased a lot. I tried to make a phone call but they didn't have a phone number for customer support. However, the person who assisted me via Live Chat is very nice, we address the issue is about a WordPress plugin that generated a lot of duplicated files. I removed that plugin and everything is back to normal. After few months, this hosting plan is still good.
